I can't remember if I mentioned on the blog that Lindsay bit someone at daycare a couple of months ago. Anyway, today our little one got bit herself. It wasn't bad and did not break the skin but the biting child managed to get her on the top of her left ring finger! I knew it was coming but I'm glad it wasn't bad. Hopefully the biting stuff will stay mild like it's been.
In other news, Santa came to daycare today and not one single child in her class was willing to sit for a picture! Not surprising and I definitely didn't think Lindsay would do it. We didn't bother to dress her up too much. We let her wear the "I'm on the Nice list" tee shirt rather than putting her in an uncomfortable dress and tights etc. I was rather surprised at how many kids were in their "Christmas Best" today. I have a feeling several parents had their hopes of a Santa picture dashed today. Such is life. There's always next year!
I have a bit of a cold and stayed home from work today to rest. Hope everyone else is having a good week. I'll try to get some more pics soon.

Tea for Two
I'm not sure if this is "tea" or "shots" by the looks of my daughter...
Grandpa is a good sport to play make believe tea party with Lindsay!
Grandpa is a good sport to play make believe tea party with Lindsay!
These are a couple of pics from Thanksgiving night in Ellijay. I really didn't take a lot of pictures that night. However, these are my favorites. Aunt Patti had a spread of new toys for Lindsay when we arrived. One of which was this cute little tin tea set. Just perfect for Lindsay's age. I'm scared to see Christmas if this was Thanksgiving! Yes, my child is spoiled by everyone!!
We had a nice long weekend and really enjoyed having a day break between the two family Thanksgiving dinners. One year we did two in one day and that was unbearable! Naturally, I was off FOUR days and Lindsay slept through the night every night except LAST night when I had to be at work at 7 this morning! Those eye teeth are NOT playing fair!! Tonight she is down for the count and we're hoping she stays that way. We seem to be in a pattern of one bad night a week. It's really hard to let her "cry it out".
That said, I'm going to be smart and head off to bed now!
Good Night from the Bresnan House!
P.S. Stay tuned for more Thanksgiving pics from Saturday later this week!

Hanging out on the long weekend!
Box Surfing
I don't even know what to call this picture!
Lindsay had a blast playing around while we were baking and preparing for Thanksgiving #2 which is today at Mike's folks house!
Lindsay shared her high chair this morning with her baby! Bite for Lindsay!
Bite for baby!
Kiss the baby!
Hope everyone's having a nice long weekend! We're heading off today for Thanksgiving Part II.
It feels great to know I still have one more day off! WOOHOO!

Sleep Issues
Lindsay woke up at 1:30 a.m. again this morning. She was inconsolable but we think it's because her eye teeth are trying to come in. We did the motrin thing but it took a long time for her to finally pass out. Fortunately, Mike dealt with her and I went back to sleep so I could get up for work. However, every time he tried to lay her back down she would wake up and scream! So when my alarm went off this morning this is how I found them in the living room...Hopefully tonight we'll all sleep a little better!

As you might imagine..."Nanta" didn't go so well. We tried. We have one more chance on November 28 when he comes to daycare for pictures. Then it's years of therapy!! Ha!ha! At least for now the chocolate chip cookie was enough to save the day!
Poor Lindsay!!
Things that make you go HMMM????
On a side note, speaking of neighbors...The people across the street from us (who obviously don't read my blog) who are the MOST non social people on the block and never come out of their house, put up their CHRISTMAS lights this weekend. HELLO? BEFORE THANKSGIVING!!! WTF?
A Sweet Sixteen!
Our next door neighbor Megan had her Sweet Sixteen party yesterday. As per usual Mike drove her friends to dinner in the Hummer Limo. Afterward they hung out back her house and partied. We were invited to come over for presents, cake and festivities. The photo above shows the most popular game of the night.
Lindsay was loving all the dancing and would stand behind the kids and mimic their moves. Whenever she got the chance she would run across the mats and of course this would mess them up. But, these kids were so sweet they didn't mind.
Here is Lindsay waiting her turn. As you can see everyone is having fun. I wish I had taken more pictures. I can tell you Mike and I were really impressed at this group of kids. All of them are in ROTC and are very polite and didn't seem to mind having some "older folks" HA! and a one year old hanging out with them.
These girls were going fast. The song? Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun! I swear! I need one of these for my living room with 80's music installed. I would be SOOOOOOOO skinny! We're talking size ZERO people! HA! Put me in some Bon Jovi and I may never leave the house!!! Too funny! Mike and I watched these kids do this for hours!
Lindsay enjoying some guitar music with her lollipop! (Naturally, she's already hanging out with the older boys)
The birthday girl! Happy Sweet 16 Megan! Thanks for having us over!

Gratitude (Lindsay's Version)
Things I'm thankful for by Lindsay Bresnan:
1.) My Paci. Mommy & Daddy still haven't grown the cajones to take it away from me yet.
2.) My blanket that Grandma made me, I sleep with it every night.
3.) My kickin' closet full of clothes! It's insane how many outfits I have. I hope I have this much to choose from when I'm 16!
4.) My Dookie Duck DVD from Aunt KK. It really calms me at 1:30 in the morning and Daddy seems to enjoy watching it with me in the middle of the night - I think it's his favorite video!
5.) Apples! My favorite word and I love to eat them.
6.) I'm thankful that I can walk now. I don't scoot on the floor and leave rashes on my thighs anymore. I'm also thankful that mommy figured out I need WIDE shoes for my fat chunky feet!
7.) Boudreaux's Butt Paste! It's the BOMB for Diaper Rash!

GRATITUDE
I was TAGGED so here it goes...I'm supposed to blog 7 things I'm Thankful for this season. I'm guessing from the few I've read we're supposed to give 7 random things other than the obvious traditional ones. So you all know how thankful I am for my beautiful daughter, my loving husband and our supportive family...so here is the fun stuff...
1.) I'm thankful that I'm getting to work at NS Forsyth again a few days so I don't have to look at 285 or 75 as many times this week! The drive is so much more relaxing to go there.
2.) I'm thankful that my husband (dear that he is) gets in the bed while I'm brushing my teeth and warms up my spot for me. Seriously! How awesome is that! I'm telling ya'll I have the greatest guy! (And yes, I know I'm spoiled!!)
3.) I'm thankful for NETFLIX because if there wasn't such a thing I would NEVER see movies anymore! I also would owe a zillion $$ in late fee's to Blockbuster so again, very thankful for my NETFLIX!
4.) I'm thankful for my blogger buddies. We have a great blog community and I so look forward to my evening down time to catch up with everyone!
5.) I'm thankful for m&m mini's because they are Lindsay's fave candy and I can pull those out at any given moment and have her undivided attention!
6.) I am stealing this one from Kim but I am thankful for my "rag mag" People and enjoy my chill out time each week reading my magazine from cover to cover. Usually these days I take it to work and read it on my lunch as there is never any time for that at home.
7.) I am thankful that I have KICK A$$ seats to the BON JOVI concert next year! WOOHOO!!!I'm even more thankful that I know I don't have to drive myself there! (Thanks Mike!)
Happy Hump Day everyone. We've had an interesting week around here. I'm going in a million directions and don't seem to have much blog time but I'll try to stay up to date. We're looking forward to another low key weekend. We may venture down to the baby and kid expo on Saturday or try and find a Santa to torture Lindsay with. Not much on the schedule.
Bye for now!

Here they are!!! Sears Christmas Photo Shoot
Above is the pose we chose for the package
One of my fave's it was so hard to choose between this and the one above!
Our Christmas card picture! (The actual card will be revealed once I mail them)
Mike's fave of Lindsay by herself. He calls it "Waiting for Santa"
Sweetness!
Love this one too. Now you can scroll down and see the rejects but I wanted to post them with my commentary...
It's shiny, round and red...it must be an apple!
Kiss the pony....

Surprise on the camera!
Just a couple of pics that I found on the camera today. Sometimes Daddy takes a few when I'm at work and I just find them on the camera. I love that!
Daddy's Self Portrait with Lindsay
Daddy's Self Portrait with Lindsay
Well, crisis averted. The Christmas pictures went fine! I'm still very happy I got what I did for Halloween because Lindsay did not do so well in the ones of her by herself. As a matter of fact we only bought one pose of just her and it was just 2 5x7's that Daddy wanted. We got several really nice family ones though. The photographer had Lindsay laughing out loud! We ended up ordering our cards and got a small one pose package for 9.99 just to have a few to give away and an 8x10 family shot for us. Overall, I'm pleased because the agenda for this shoot was to get a family shot. Our last family shots were when she was 2 months old and then again at 5 months but Santa was also in that picture. Oh, and for those of you in the Kennesaw area, Santa is now at Town Center Mall. He looked pretty good too. We didn't subject Lindsay to that tonight but we'll probably go back at some point. There were NO lines today though! I may try to take her up there one night this week after work.
The photos are not online yet so I can't share them tonight but I will soon!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Just Hanging out on Saturday
Lindsay before breakfast. Gotta love a happy baby first thing in the morning! Here she is modeling her hat that she made at daycare!
It finally happened. She's been eyeing the toilet paper roll for a while now. I knew it was only a matter of time.
It finally happened. She's been eyeing the toilet paper roll for a while now. I knew it was only a matter of time.
So here is my rant for tonight. We have Christmas pics tomorrow and I just tried Lindsay's Christmas dress on her for the first time. It swallows her. It's cute but I really think she'd look better in an 18 month rather than the 24. I bought it at Macy's end of season last year. I happened into Macy's last week and noticed they have the same dress (not on sale). Do I just go buy another one in her size and return the other when we're done? We're gonna be at the mall anyway. Or do I just live with it? Also, Mike has NO clue what he's wearing tomorrow hasn't even looked and he's working tonight. Tomorrow morning he's driving in the Veteran's Day Parade. So we're going to be rushing. Not to mention that yesterday he went for a haircut and the guy scalped him! So....depending on how it all goes we may send out cards again with only Lindsay this year. Or we may scrap it and do something different. UGH.
In the grand scheme of things I guess we'll just roll the dice and see how the photo session goes.
Miss Lindsay is having a bed time meltdown so I'm out.
Goodnight!

Home Sick Today- Random stuff & Update
I have come down with a sinus infection or possibly strep (doc said strep test was borderline) so I have been home the last two days. Every time I get up from my comfy spot on the couch I come back to this......this is Midnight. She is the Queen of the house & place warmer!
A random pic of Lindsay that I love, taken on 10/10/07. Her first year we took a picture of her each month in her rocking chair.
I had not taken one in a while so in order to also get a pic of her in these cute overalls I used the rocking chair excuse. She looks sort of sassy in this pic.
Just ten months earlier a comparison shot. Lindsay 1/10/07 at six months of age! WOW! She's barely bigger than Baby Tad!

So here is the update. Lindsay's doc visit went well overall. Her ears are both clear. Although, she had fluid in her left ear but it wasn't infected. (which says to me she ought to have another one oh, right around say THANKSGIVING....grrrrr....)
Anyway, we'll see but they will not even TALK about tubes until she's 2. However, if she continues with the ear infections and she has more than 4 in six months they will go ahead and refer us to the ENT. So, that means if she has one more by the end of the year we'll be talking. Anyone want to take odds??? I'm fine with it. I hate for her to keep suffering like this and everyone says tubes make it so much better! For now, we have our happy go lucky baby back and she's sleeping through the night. Let's hope she doesn't catch what mommy has now!
We have a quiet weekend planned. Nothing on the schedule other than our Christmas pics on Sunday. Yes, it's early but apparently the next two weekends will be horribly busy at the studio and I don't want to put it off until December. Otherwise I may never get them addressed!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
I'd also like to say our thoughts and prayers are with the Gordon Family!

Graison's 2nd Birthday Party- Sun 11/4/07
Lindsay sits at the table like a big girl at Waffle House. Mommy and Daddy were an hour early due to the time change so we went out for breakfast!
Graison's mom and grandmother put together a "fall festival" style bday party. Here are the prize buckets for each child to take home full of loot!
Each station had a different game. Here is the Fish Pond. It was a big hit with the bigger kids!
The Princess Bouncy House! Obviously a main attraction!
The birthday girl would not come out! Here she is with Mom in the background.
Of course us big kids had to get in on the action!
Caylin did a great job looking out for the little ones in the bouncy. Here she was trying to help Lindsay see that she could jump. At first, Lindsay would only sit and bounce. It did not take her long to figure out her footing though, as you will see further down.
Graison's close up! (This pic is her mommy's fave)
Mike looking for a way out!!!!!!!!!
Daddy & Lindsay having fun!
Linds spent a lot of time at the lollipop tree. She didn't realize she could eat them at first.
Each child had tickets to use to play each game. Lindsay thought the tickets were cool! Here she is heading off with her bucket and her tickets ready for the first game!

The Duck Pond was a big hit with the wittle ones. Graison and Lindsay looking for the duck with the highest number on the bottom. It's all about the prizes man!
Or maybe, for Lindsay, it was all about the ducks! Look at that face! "Who me? Duck thief? Whatever do you mean???" It was one of her first words people!

The bean bag toss!
She was a little tentative about the face painting!

Why are you rubbing that Qtip on my face?
Daddy picked a "sun" for Lindsay's face since she is the sunshine of his life! Seriously, I don't make this stuff up. HA!
I had to take a pic of the Carmel apples. YUMMY!
Daddy's job was to run the lollipop game. The older girls spent lots of tickets on this game!
Here is Lindsay's friend Zoe! This is my sister in law's sister's daughter. Got that? She has FOUR girls ranging from 4yrs-2months old. Zoe & Lindsay are two months apart.

For all you Georgia fans! Caylin did not appreciate it when I suggested a yellow jacket or Gator for another place on her face.
Lindsay was so funny giving kisses through the mesh fencing.

Another FIRST...this is Lindsay's first lollipop.
Lindsay's newest word is "baby". She says it whenever she sees another child no matter how old they are. She kept going over to Kiri's car seat to check her out. (oops I forgot to put up a pic of sweet Kiri and their other sister Riley too)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!
Maybe someone else in our house is contemplating the idea of another baby???

SOOOO SWEET! They were a sticky mess too!
I just love this picture of me with the girls.
As the day wound down it started to get chilly. However, this did not hinder us from bouncing!
Lindsay and Graison have matching coats on. I put this picture up to really show you the air that Graison is getting. Check her out in mid bounce behind Lindsay who is also maintaining her balance quite well!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY! I can hardly believe you're 2!!
Love you girl!
