Lindsay's Big School Project 10/30/2011

Here is Lindsay's Turkey Project that was due today for school she and her Grandma worked on it this weekend. Grandma had a lot of good stuff for Lindsay use.
This will be among others displayed in the Kindergarten Hall in a very nice display case for the month of November!

We also sent two more copies over so Brooke and Lindsay could color one also. Here they are proudly holding up their Turkey's!!

Brooke's is on the left, and Lindsay's is on the right. We are going to hang these in our house for decoration.

Lindsay is very proud of her Turkey and plans to tell her teacher that her Grandma should take some credit for it being so good. We are also very proud that Lindsay was willing to work so hard on her Turkey and not just color it.

We really had a good time, especially the second day. Mike cooked breakfast on our camp stove for everyone, eggs and sausage. We enjoyed just hanging out visiting and roasting some more marshmallows after breakfast. Then we had lunch with Mike's folks and packed up, took a walk back to see the goats and pigs and then we did our photography session before we headed home for a steak-n-shake dinner. Unfortunately, Lindsay and I are both sick. Lindsay missed her first day of school today. (so much for perfect attendance this semester:( )
We all decided that we would definitely camp at this location again, anytime.

Lindsay rides a pony for the first time ever.

Yay, she is liking it! It took her a while to work up the nerve to ride. She brushed the ponies for so long the lady finally gave her a free ride.

Daddy walks with Brooke on her ride. Our little dare devil wanted to ride the pony first thing!

Lindsay brushes Minnie Pearl by herself as she is working up the nerve to ride.

We had a blast this weekend at Sweet Water River Pumpkin Farm and camp ground. Everything was in easy walking distance from our campsite. If our girls' were a little older they could have been on the play ground alone and we would have been able to see them. However, they are not there yet. The mazes were literally right across from our site. Everything except the pony rides and the pumpkins was free. The pony rides were only 4.00 each and the pumpkins were .50 cents per pound. It was such a nice trip, the girls' really got along well and did everything they wanted to do!
