A VISIT WITH EDDIE & JESSIE 12/11/2011

On Sunday 12/11/2011 we left Breakfast with Santa and headed up to Ellijay to visit my nephew Eddie and his girlfriend Jessie who were in town visiting from Orlando. They brought the girls some Christmas gifts from their Aunt Teresa and Uncle Ernie also in Orlando, here is Lindsay modeling a very nice magnetic doll set that mimics paper dolls. Thanks guys!
Brooke opens up the next gift which is a Disney Princess Bedtime Story Book! Awesome!

Brooke starts to look through the book for her favorites.

There it is "Sleeping Beauty" is Brooke's fave!!

Cousin Eddie gave the girls lots of his old DVD's that are all their age range, as he us upgrading his collection to Blue Ray and he gave us many movies that we only have on VHS not DVD, which the girls were THRILLED about. Now they have a larger choice of movies to watch in the van.

Polar Express and SANTA SURPRISE!! 12/9/2011

Friday 12/9/2011 we went to Barnes and Noble for a reading of The Polar Express. Here I am with the girls and my newly colored hair (no more grey!) it was also P.J. night for all of the kid's. Once the lady finished telling the story she gave all of the children silver bells on red ribbon.
The big surprise was Santa came up from the front of the store. No one knew THAT was going to happen! Apparently our B&N has been doing this since 2003, and now it's a company wide gig.

I love this photo of Lindsay and Santa and I am sure she is telling him she wants a PINK DS.

Brooke told Santa she wants a doll house that Barbie can get in and ride to the 2nd floor and a new BABY! I love that Brooke is so willing to sit with Santa this year. Santa even took his finger and stroked her sweet dimple!! I just MELT! Lindsay said Santa told her that he KNOWS she was good enough to get her DS but he also told her to CONTINUE to behave!!!

What a heart warming night and SEASON!!

Many Warm wishes to you all and to all a Good Night!

Deck The Halls- Ellijay 12/4/2011

On Sunday 12-4-2011 we spent the afternoon up in Ellijay to help Aunt Patti and Uncle Steve decorate their tree. We had a nice visit with Aunt Claire (who is really Steve's Aunt Claire), but we all just call her Aunt Claire and she and I share the same birthdate 12-27. :)
Aunt Claire enjoys doing this each year and we enjoy participating, the girls love Aunt Claire.

Brooke and Lindsay have fun being able to pick out which ornaments they want to hang. Aunt Patti is very patient with them. Probably a bit more patient than Mommy is. If you notice in the early photos on this post the girls each got a Christmas tree necklace on a red string, Aunt Patti gave them these cute necklaces!

Brooke is very happy decorating and showing off her new necklace.

Lindsay trying to decide if she wants to hang or KEEP the MOUSE in the stocking ornament!! (J/K).

Cousin Donna just home from the hospital tries to decorate the back side of the tree.
