A VISIT WITH EDDIE & JESSIE 12/11/2011

On Sunday 12/11/2011 we left Breakfast with Santa and headed up to Ellijay to visit my nephew Eddie and his girlfriend Jessie who were in town visiting from Orlando. They brought the girls some Christmas gifts from their Aunt Teresa and Uncle Ernie also in Orlando, here is Lindsay modeling a very nice magnetic doll set that mimics paper dolls. Thanks guys!
Brooke opens up the next gift which is a Disney Princess Bedtime Story Book! Awesome!

Cousin Eddie gave the girls lots of his old DVD's that are all their age range, as he us upgrading his collection to Blue Ray and he gave us many movies that we only have on VHS not DVD, which the girls were THRILLED about. Now they have a larger choice of movies to watch in the van.

It was so good to see you guys! Especially this close to Christmas!

Can't wait to see you again soon. Hopefully we'll make it down for a visit before the new school year, as Brooke will be on the same public school schedule as Lindsay next year. She will be in Pre-K next year!

Thank you Aunt Teresa, Uncle Ernie and Cousin Matthew for sending gifts and letting the girls open them early! :)

Family Visit 6/28/2011

My nephew Michael came down from Pittsburgh where he lives now, and we had a great visit with he and his girlfriend Emily, who the girls LOVED!!
Emily did paper dolls and puzzles with both Lindsay and Brooke.

Michael it was great to see you! The girls' say next time you come home please bring Emily with you. Emily have a Happy Birthday! It was so nice to meet you. Thanks for playing so much with the girls. Only 1 week and 3 days until Brooke turns 3 and it's only 5 days until your birthday! Enjoy!! It was a great family night for us we can't wait til you guys come back again. We are celebrating Brooke's birthday with family and friends from 11-2 on Sunday July 11, 2011!!

The Girls Have Fun In Ellijay While Mom and Dad Were Away!

The night we went to Bon Jovi the girls camped out in a new tent, that Uncle Steve and Aunt Patti gave them. Daddy packed their new sleeping bags that they got for Christmas (Pink of course!) Brooke had a little bit of a moment missing mom and dad. But Lindsay was a great big sis and calmed her down and comforted her.
They got to take a JACUZZI bath with TONS of BUBBLES! That was the talk of the night!

Thanks Pat and Steve, Mike and I had a great date night! Bon Jovi was awesome and we really appreciate the help with the girls. We love you!

OUR FUN DAY IN ELLIJAY 2/26/2011

Aunt Patti had some wig donations at work and she told us to bring some Princess dresses with us to her house today and she didn't tell us why...
The girls' were so funny trying on wigs, of course they both liked the same one the best.

This was Lindsay's favorite. She thought she was Rapunzel in Tangled.

She got the biggest kick out of having so many curls, like her friend's Graison and Reagan from her pre-k class.

Well, of course Brooke liked the very same wig!

This is wig number 2 fave in the rotation. Brooke thought that this one made her look like Sleepin Beauty!!

So Precious! This is Brooke's favorite princess dress these days.

It is so weird seeing them with all this hair! If Mike had his way we would never cut Lindsay's hair again until it was this long!!

Lindsay does not like the black hair, she thinks she looks like Mother Gothel the bad one from Tangled.

I told him she might someday look like this if her hair gets as dark as mine. My hair was lighter when I was her age too.

Somehow, I think we may use these wigs for Halloween this year.

Lindsay or Brooke may want to be Sleeping Beauty this year. That is if we can convince Lindsay that she does not need to be Peter Pan!!
