Swim Lessons 6/11/2011

WOW! Lindsay jumps into the pool to Sawyer (she wouldn't do that for Daddy 3 weeks ago).

He floated them over to the side of the pool to let them off at the end of the lesson.

Overall, we are much happier with the lessons the girls are getting from Aqua Tots this season.

Lindsay is much more confident this year!! And of course Brooke has no fear, and she is doing great! We are very proud of their swimming skills so far this summer.

Fun at the Lake 6/11/2011

Yesterday we went to Lake Allatoona and swam with the kids, Lindsay, Brooke, Cambree and Avery ( our neigbor Crystal and Gary's twin grandaughter's). The girl's also made a friend the girl wearing red, was camping with her great grandma. She had the cutest freckle face!
Brooke had a blast in the lake and she was the only one of our two girls' to start walking into the lake by herself to swim out to daddy.

Lindsay refused to give up a raft and swim on her own. It was nice of our neighbor's girls' to share their rafts with our girls and they were certainly good swimmers, they swam like FISH!

The girls' all heading for shore to say goodbye as Lindsay and Brooke had 1:30 swim lessons and we had to go home and eat lunch first.

Thank you Crystal and Gary for inviting us to your camp site, we had a great time swimming with the girls'!

6/4/2011 Swim Lessons

June 4th we took Lindsay & Brooke for swimming lessons. These were Brooke's first lessons and she did awesome.
Brooke liked her teacher a lot and the funny thing is the teacher all wet reminds me of my niece Melinda especially in this photo.

The teacher did great, she actually showed Brooke how to get out of the pool just in case of a fall in. Also, how to float on her back to help her breathe.

Lindsay was like a FISH in the water this year!! She rocked in the deep end! She even went underwater with her instructor to pick up rings below.

Check her out floating in the deep end she was miles from where she was last year. She even jumped into the pool to her instructor which she doesn't even do with Daddy.

She actually got to use the swim noodle this time.

Mike and I are so proud of both of our girls' and how they reacted to their swim lessons this year. For her first time in the pool without Daddy Brooke was so courageous! That's our "NO FEAR" Brookie!!

HAPPY JUNE!!!

I am so happy that it's finally June, as of today we have 17 days until Lindsay's 5 th birthday, WOW! I can't believe she is almost 5! And 12 days until Mike and I celebrate our 9 th wedding anniversary. Mike's sister Helen's birthday is June 7 th. My sister Pat and brother-in-law Steve celebrate their anniversary on June 29 and our friend's Missy and Anthony celebrate their anniversary on June 30 th.

Lot's to celebrate this month! I hope everyone else is having a happy June and the beginning of a wonderful summer!!
