Lindsay Excels in School Conduct Award! Week 2!

8/12/2011: Above is the certificate that Lindsay received at school today because she had GREAT Conduct in her kindergarten class. The students all have a jar and they receive a stone in their jar if they are caught doing something good, correct, or polite to a teacher or fellow student without being prompted. Lindsay had 28 stones in her jar just for this week. She received the award and got to pick a prize (which she picked a small spiral notebook) and also got to pick from a special box of "gems" (plastic) stones, of which she picked a pink diamond. She is so happy that she got a reward this week. Mom and Dad are extremely proud of her! We think she is going to continue to be a GREAT BOSTON BEAR!! And we will be happy to continue BRAGGING on her!!! :)

Congratulations Lindsay!!! 5/27/2011

Lindsay is officially a pre-k graduate today! She was very happy with her last day of school. We took her and Brooke to Menchies for a frozen yogurt celebration after school. All of the kids showered the teachers with presents today. Lindsay gave Miss Kathleen a photo album with the above photo in the front of it. She also gave Miss Julie a nice pack of stationary from The School Box. We are very proud of Lindsay she made it through the year without really missing any school and we are so excited to see her head to "big girl" school with the right work ethic. Her Aunt Helen/ God Mother is a school teacher as well and I am sure she is proud of Lindsay as well.

Lindsay's Spring Pre-k Photo May 2011

Here is Lindsay's final photo of the school year. We're very proud of how much she has learned and grown this year. We feel that she is ready for Kindergarten this Fall. Her teacher's Ms. Kathleen and Miss Julie have been awesome! Her school has been awesome! She can count to 100 now, with only a little prompting. She has learned the value of sharing and working well with others; which has helped in her relationship with her little sister. Lindsay has learned a lot more about being a big sister this year and being patient with Brooke. She will be 5 on June 20 this summer. She is very excited for her birthday and her sister's to come. Brooke will be 3 on 7/11 this summer. It's so much fun to have all these summer birthday's and this will be the first year that Lindsay will have many of her peers to invite to her party!

1 WEEK LEFT OF PRE-K 5/20/2011

Lindsay's last day of school is next Friday, May 27, 2011. I can't believe we already have made it through her first school year! Here we come Boston Bear's!! Kindergarten is just around the corner and Lindsay is very ready for it. As Brooke is counting her days to get into big girl school too. She enjoys picking Lindsay up from pre-k and dropping her off. She knows that she will also go to Discovery Pointe and have Miss Kathleen for Pre-K, as a sibling of Lindsay the school has already promised us that Brooke will have no problem getting in. We are such fans of Discovery Pointe, it's going to be sad to leave next Friday. We have a lot of people to say Goodbye to. I am sure we will feel the same feelings when Lindsay leaves Boston at the end of 5th grade, but at least Brooke will still be there in 3rd.

We hope you all have a wonderful, safe and Blessed Summer!!

XOXO,
The Bresnan Family

CONGRATULATIONS BROOKIE!!!

THE PACI (OR AS BROOKE SAYS BICEY FAIRY CAME TODAY)!! Brooke has gone cold turkey as of last night. We'll see how she does tonight with the storms! She did end up on the couch with daddy last night for a long time.
We are so proud that as a family we could finally take the pacifier away and give her a movie reward from the fairy! Lindsay had to loose hers at what we like to call "Nixon Boot Camp" at her Uncle David and Aunt Helen's house 3 years ago.

The Bresnan family pacifier free! Now her vice is chewing gum!! LOL!!

Congratulations To ME!!

10/15/2010

Today I took my driving evaluation test that the neurologist recommended so that I can be on the road safely; and should I have a wreck that hurts someone I can not be sued for medical reasons if they choose to look into my medical records ie: aneurysm, seizure etc. The place the doctor suggested did not have an opening until December and they don't take insurance so they charge 580.00 for an exam! I looked up my DMV and called and explained what I needed, and they told me they could take me out for an hour for 60.00 or 2 hours for 125.00. Since I was feeling confident that I could drive well I went for the one hour test. I did Awesome! Sarah my test driver said I was very aware of my surroundings and my speed. She took me to an area that I was not super familiar with and I was able to navigate the curvy road well. I stayed in my lane at all times and felt very comfortable behind the wheel! Although Mike says I have to work my way up to driving with both girls in the car when they are a little older and a little less annoying in the car. He has a hard time tuning them out when they are yelling and thinks that I would as well. So I am now Blessed by Mike and a professional to drive my Honda again and have a little Independence back! Now I just have to get him to clean out my car! LOL!
