A friend called me tonight and said it feels to her like I've been pregnant for 14 months! THANK YOU! I feel the same way!
It seems like November 13 was YEARS AGO!
I absolutely hate that I basically did not enjoy this pregnancy. I really wanted to experience pregnancy a second time. I prayed that we'd be Blessed with two and that I would get that lucky. I was so sick the first two trimesters and then I finally started to feel good as I rounded the third and then WHAMO...Mike's stuff happened. I've been strong and fairly level headed considering. However, I've been riding the emotional roller coaster WAY too long. I'll be SOOOOOOOOOO happy to have this baby here and healthy and OUTSIDE OF ME! Of course I'm not in total denial...the emotional roller coaster after is just as bad. I don't think I really started feeling like MYSELF again til Lindsay was around 3-4 months old. So....I reserve the right to blame all my actions on hormones until at least OCTOBER! Got that people???
So in happier news, Lindsay is home tonight! She was in a great mood and she is snug in her big girl bed as I type! I managed to get my house vac'd and dusted tonight. I need to mop floors still but Mike and I will tag team that in the morning I think. My bags are packed and I have a hair appt tomorrow (thankfully) so unless the vacuuming I did tonight throws me into labor I'm good to go til Friday morning! My house is no where NEAR where I wanted it by now but I'm over worrying about it. People that come to visit are coming to see the baby anyway.
I couldn't have been happier when I left work today! I'm hoping lil miss wants to sleep in a bit tomorrow (both of them). No bladder bouncing at 5:30 a.m. please baby...
I'm going to try to get a final belly pic tomorrow for the blog. I have no idea if I'm going to be able to blog yet or not from the hospital but I will make sure someone at the very least gets a few pics of the wee one up for me!
Stay tuned...it's getting exciting around here!!!
