Update from the Sleepless Wonders...

Goodmorning! (for the second time) This time it's NOON!
Lindsay plays peek a boo while Daddy is doing search and recovery of old paci's under the crib.
Well, this is a far cry from "Cold Turkey"! (yeah, we washed them off before we gave them to her...NOT!)
We've been considering getting rid of the pacifier. For now, she only gets them in the crib and sometimes the car if it gets ugly. She's never had 3 at one time and it was funny watching her switch them all around trying out each one like it was a different flavor.
Switch...
...and switch again...
ahhhhh, the perfect "fix"!!! I have NO idea how she did this but it was funny!
I posted this pic for Katie at CUP OF JOE in response to the one of Joe's closet with two shirts hanging...Aren't you glad you didn't have a girl now? It's been this packed with clothes since she was born!!! It's crazy! In my defense the top rack is mostly stuff for the upcoming Fall and Winter season. Thanks to Lindsay's BFF Graison who is 7 months older we have LOTS and LOTS of clothes!

This pic was lightened up a bit so you can actually SEE Max. This is the meal time routine. Also notice Lindsay's TOES spread out on her tray. She's eating something she really likes and you can always tell by the toes!!

Today was a pretty good day even though we had a fairly whiney baby. We got a late (very late) start to the day but finally made it to Costco around 4pm. After Costco we met Karen and Kevin at the Chinese Buffet which is SO NOT weight watcher friendlly. We got some great pics of Lindsay there which I'll save for th next post. After dinner we came home and did bath and our tried to put Lindsay to bed. Tonight she fussed and took over an hour to get to bed. So, this is also not the norm. I will take it though if she sleeps through the night. We were debating the Motrin as we do not like to medicate for the sake of sleep but in the end we finally gave her a dose. Her gums are VERY swollen in the back and I keep hearing that the ONE YEAR molers are just MISERABLE! Check in with me tomorrow for a hopeful report of SLEEP tonight for Lindsay, MOMMY & DADDY!

Good luck on the sleep. She definitely likes the pasi's. Quite a feat there, Linds.

Fussy baby syndrome must be going around. We have it at my house too. Maddie had been sleeping trhough the night for about 2 weeks and since shehad her shots on Thursday I don't think that I have gotten 6 hours of sleep combined! I think of you when I am up at 2 am this morning.....hopefully both Lindsay and Maddie will calm down for us tonight!!!! Here's to sleep!!!

It's catching in Texas too! Laney decided that 3:30 AM was an ideal time to wake up and wail. I think it was her gums, and then hunger because she cried for so long.

We wish you all lots of sleep, Chris.

Love the multiple binky trick, BTW.

There is no defense for a closet like that - trust me, I get it all the time. "Honey, does she really NEED another outfit???" Well...we all know the answer to that. Yes, the clothes-sharing is a lovely thing. I need to have another girl so I can reap the benefits the next time around! (And you failed to tell everyone that we haven't even really STARTED on the fall consignment shopping trail...) HA!
