This is a photo from last night when Lindsay's fever first spiked. We put an ice cube in her newest baby invention and she went to town on it.
Karen came over and helped mommy and daddy out and snuggled with Lindsay when she wasn't feeling good.
Today's Doctor Update:
Mike took Linds to the ped and it turns out we were told that teething will not cause that high of a fever (who knew)? So, they wanted to recheck her ears early. Turns out the ears are FINALLY cleared up. HOORAY! The doc wasn't sure but it seems that a virus has been going around that presents with a three day fever and then coughing and congestion for a week (oh joy). We have to watch her and if the fever isn't gone by Friday we'll need to take her back to the doc. Otherwise we'll see how the following week goes. She did tell us that Lindsay is not cutting her two top teeth. She's cutting her FOUR top teeth. POOR BABY! No wonder she's chewing so hard on everything she can. As of tonight nothing has cut through but I have a sneaking suspicion that the Easter Bunny may be bringing Lindsay a tooth or two, or four! Who knows, maybe I'll feel sorry enough for her to at least let her lick a peep. :)
