I weighed in again today. I was the exact same weight as last week. I still only need to lose .8 lbs to lose 5% of my body weight. My leader told me I was doing really well and still averaging 1-2 lbs a week. But, I am just frustrated. I know it won't come off as fast as it came on, but I can wish. I have been impressing myself so much at the gym. I can do things now that I didn't think I could do ever, six months ago. I am hoping it will come off and then some this week. I am volunteering at a consignment sale 3 days this week. I will be wearing my pedometer and getting activity points plus I plan to work out as well those days. So look out summer here I come!
Thank you to all of my friends and especially family who have been supporting me in this journey. I really appreciate all the face book posts and encouragement so much!

2/13/2010 Amicalola Falls Hike
Uncle Paul, Brooke, Aunt Agatha, myself and Lindsay all posed for Mike on the walking trail at Amicalola Falls today.
The gorgeous top of the Falls.
Another shot of the Falls.
Our whole group again in Sepia color tone. Lindsay had her new baby with her the whole hike, she carried it in her jacket like a Baby Bjorn.
Here is a shot of the Falls in Black & White.
Lower level of the Falls.
Uncle Paul takes a photo of Mike, me, Lindsay, Brooke and Aunt Agatha at the uppermost base of the Falls.
My Lindsay and I.
Aunt Agatha, Brooke & Lindsay all pose and smile.SO CLOSE!!!
Yesterday I weighed in and I lost 3.8 pounds! I needed 4 to get to my first goal. I am officially down 13.5 pounds! All I need to do is lose .5 lbs to get my 5% award! I worked so hard in the gym last week. I intend to do the same this week and I WILL MAKE MY GOAL! I am so happy with the success I have had so far being back on weight watchers. I can't wait to see where I am at by summer! I believe this is the first year I will finally be happy with my body size when summer comes. Lindsay and Mike are being so supportive of me they help me with my shopping, and remind me when I am about to make a food mistake. My personal goal is to finally get strong enough to be able to run again. Maybe all this work in the gym will finally help me gain mind control over my left leg! Lord willing it will happen by the end of 2011. Lindsay loves to stretch out with me and likes when I teach her calf raises and she has also had fun trying to get me to jump and get both feet off the ground. I have two beautiful and supportive daughters what more could anyone ask for?!

Community Helper Day 2/4/2011
Lindsay dressed and ready for school.
She was in such a good mood, mostly because mommy was going to drop off too. It was a special day at school today.
Lindsay ready to listen to somebody's heart. She is such a great little doctor. We would have had a great drop off, but the teacher's helper was at the door saying it was a rain drop off day, however all the other kids were going into their classes like normal and the helper started pulling Lindsay from me. Lindsay totally expected Mom to come in and sign her in as usual, and she started crying, and pulling away from the teacher. Mike said the last few times it was raining they did not use that procedure. We all expected to go into the classroom and mom was going to take some photos of some of Lindsay's friends. Unfortunately, it did not work out that way. So Lindsay ended up having a bad drop off. We have already told her she will get a prize for one month of good drop off's and she has been doing great! So we are planning on telling her that today was not her fault and will not count against her record. That should make for a happy Friday afternoon for her! So Mike and Brooke and I are having breakfast and then we are going to the gym so I can get my walk in. Have a great Friday everyone!

Lindsay's Community Helper Costume
Lindsay's class has been learning about Community Helper's this week. Each child is supposed to dress up tomorrow as a community helper and Lindsay wants to go as an animal doctor.
KK came over with a name tag for her that she made at work and sewed up a cat scrub top, and brought her a surgical mask and gloves and a hat.
Cute girls!
Brooke gets in on the action! Thanks, KK for all your help and supplies, don't worry we won't make you help with all the girls' school projects. But, this was AWESOME!! Thanks again. We love you!
